Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has extolled the virtues of Hon Christian Nwaokonko as he celebrates with him on the occasion of his birthday today, October 18, at the residence of the celebrant inÂ
The Speaker described the celebrant as a man who carefully chooses his path without wavering. “This is why he has stood by me and my associates over time especially at the last election, and that is why my coming to celebrate with him is not a favour but part of payment of the enormous debt I owe him for his steadfastness in the State’s political journey”, the Speaker said.
 While thanking the celebrant for hosting the gathering and praying for long life and prosperity upon him, the Speaker committed to return the favours done to him by Hon Nwaokonko over the yearsÂ
Some of the dignitaries present at the occasion included the Majority Leader of Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Solomon Akpulonu, the Member representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency, Hon Ginger Onwusibe, the Commissioner for Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Gabriel C. Onyendilefu, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Legislative Matters, Hon Mezie Nwaubani among others, extolled the celebrant and congratulated him.
