Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has condoled with the family of Late Chief John Emelogu of Amapu Ntigha in Isialangwa North Local Government Area of Abia State over the demise of their Patriarch.
Speaking on Friday at the funeral Mass of the Late Ezinna Chief John Emelogu (Odozi Obodo 1 of Amapu Ntigha), the Speaker called on the family to bear the loss of their father and grand father with divine consolation seeing that he was a good man whose goodness reflects in other great men and women of Amapu Ntigha he nurtured, including the Lawmaker representing Isialangwa North State Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Ginger Onwusibe.
“I don’t know the man personally but I know the man that asked me to come for the burial, my colleague, Hon.Ginger Onwusibe representing Isialangwa North State Constituency.
“I came so that I can witness the burial of the man who disciplined my brother and friend to be the gentleman that he is today”, the Speaker said.
The Speaker further condoled with the family of the departed and asked them to bear the loss of their father who, from all testimonies, lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation, and prayed for the repose of his soul in the bosom of the Lord.

The Funeral Mass which held at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Amapu Ntigha, attracted other top dignitaries including a former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Christopher Enweremadu, Hon Member representing Ugwunagbo State Constituency Hon. Munachim Alozie among others.
