Speaker of Abia state House of Assembly, Hon. Chinedum Orji on Tuesday evening visited the former Governor of Abia state and Chief Whip of Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in Abuja.
The Nigeria Daily gathered that the Speaker arrived in the company of leadership of State House of Assembly and elders of Abia state at exactly 5:30 pm.
The visit, sources said could not be unconnected with the release of Kalu from the Abuja prison after the Supreme Court invalidated his sentencing to 12 years in prison by an Appeal Court.
It could be recalled that the father of the Abia State Speaker, the Senttor representing Abia Central Senatorial District who succeeded Kalu had paid the Senate Chief Whip a visit in his Abuja home in the company of his wife and Abia First Lady, Odochi recently.
