Ugwuanyi defies Tuesday night rain to monitor curfew

The governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi defied Tuesday’s night rain to be on the streets of Enugu, the State capital to monitor the level of compliance by the people of the state to the nationwide 8 pm to 6am curfew.

Ugwuanyi who chose not to relax in the cozy Enugu State Government House was out in the rainy night in the company of his security aides.

According to the pictures trending on social media, Gov. Ugwuanyi was seen addressing some pedestrians who were walking on the streets.

Recall that the Enugu State Governor had visited the boundary between Enugu State and Ebonyi state to monitor the level of compliance of inter-state lockdown by Nigerians.

A lot of vehicles that were parked by soldiers at a military checkpoint were carrying passengers said to be heading to other parts of the country, using Ebonyi-Enugu route.
