Players of Enyimba International Football Club (FC) has expressed confidence of emerging victorious ahead of their Sunday home game with Akwa United in Aba.
The match which holds at Enyimba Stadium by 4pm is coming after Enyimba FC defeated Nasarawa United FC on Thursday in Aba during a rescheduled Nigeria Professional League (NPL) match.
Speaking in an interview ahead of the Sunday game Sampson Obi, Abiodun Adebayo and Victor Mbaoma described Akwa United team as one of the good teams in the NPL, but said that they optimistic that Enyimba FC will come out of the encounter victorious.
For Sampson Obi, he wishes to continue scoring goals in every match. For Centre back, Abiodun Adebayo, it’s important for the team to begin to keep clean sheets and for Victor Mbaoma who will be facing his former team mates, said that he doesn’t have any special feelings, rather to ensure that his side comes out victorious.
Mbaoma said that though he knows that Akwa United is a good side and some of the players still his friends, he is concerned with the business of the day;justifying his employer’s trust in him.
