Youths of Ayetoro Gbede in Ijumu also attacked a group of Journalists at Dino’s polling unit and broke the windscreen of the Sienna space bus they were travelling with after the thugs has left.
The youths also made burn fire and blocked the roads with heavy stones a s sticks.
Nobody was hot in the attack either on the polling unit or the bus carrying the Journalists.
At the time of this report many of the youths were seen gathered in clusters discussing the development, while a team of policemen were seen heading to the town.
The Nation noticed that the box containing votes cast for the Senatorial election was broken and left behind while that of the governorship was taken away.
Senator Melaye could not be reached for his comment even though he was within the town.
