The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, says it is sure of an easy
victory in the 2021 gubernatorial election in Anambra state.
In a statement issued in Awka, the Anambra state chairman of the party, Sir Norbert Obi, said his APGA’s confidence is anchored on the unprecedented achievements of governments sponsored by the party since 2006.
Sir Norbert observed that it is a thing of joy that the Obiano administration is poised to reinforce its impressive security
architecture which has made Anambra, the safest state in the country.
He cited the recent commissioning of the ultra-modern Coscharis rice mill at Igbariam, as clear evidence that investors are today happy with the conducive atmosphere provided by the present state government for profitable business ventures in the state.
The Anambra state APGA boss also expressed happiness over what he
described
as “the sustainable exploits of the state under the present
administration in the education sector at the national and global
levels” pointing out that the recent sweeping victories of Anambra
during the President’s Teachers and Schools Excellent Award in Abuja,
are clear evidence of the achievements of APGA government in the state.
He equally described the health insurance policy of the present state government popularly known as ASHIA, as “humane and people-oriented”, and enjoined the citizenry to take full advantage of the programme for “a healthier and more productive society”.
The APGA state chairman enthused that the state government would in its characteristic responsiveness embark on massive rehabilitation of some deplorable roads and construction of ongoing major road projects across the three senatorial districts of the state in the fast-approaching dry season.
Sir Norbert emphasised that the vile propaganda of opposition political parties in the state would ultimately be ineffectual because of the verifiable accomplishments of the APGA led government and disclosed that his party has set machinery in motion for effective
grassroots mobilisation towards the next gubernatorial poll in the state.
