The 7th Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, has disassociated himself from fraudulent facebook accounts which were reportedly opened in his name by yet-to-be identified individuals.
Orji in a press release by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Promise Uzoma denied operating the said accounts and went ahead to warn the general public against falling into the hands of scamers who are using various pseudo facebook accounts which they reportedly opened using him name to dupe unsuspecting members of the public.
The release read, “The Attention of the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly has been drawn to the fraudulent activities of scammers who are opening pseudo Facebook accounts with his name to dupe Unsuspecting Members of the Public.
“Please, for the umpteenth Time, the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly Rt.Hon.Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji is not on Facebook.
