Online Media team to tour Udom’s project as Akwa Ibom marks 32

As part of its activities to mark 32 years of the creation of Akwa Ibom State, members of Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN) would be in the state for a media tour of project sites initiated by incumbent Governor Udom Emmanuel-led administration.

According to a statement released by Mr. Ismaila YK, the Public Relations Officer of OMPAN, the tour is scheduled to hold for three days.

Mr. Ismaila stated that the tour would start by September 18, 2019 with a visit to media houses in the state with the association’s NEC meeting holding the same day.

The statement also hinted that there will be a general meeting of OMPAN the following day, September 19.

“There will be an interactive Session with Governor Udom Emmanuel on September 20, 2019. It will be followed with a press conference on September 21, 2019,” the statement said.

“Projects to visit include Syringe Factory, Ibom Air, Metering Company, 2x60KVA power substation, Plywood Factory, Coconut Refinery, Fertilizer blending plant, Rice Mill, Akwa Prime Hatchery, and 21 storey business complex.”
Others include “Nto Edino(Obot Akara) – Ekwerazu(Abia state), Eket-Ibeno dual road, Etinan – Ndon Eyo road, Uyo- Ikot Ekpene Road, Ini – Arochukwu road,” among others.
