Raffle draw company creates job for unemployed Abia youths

As part of its commitment to ensure that unemployed graduates and undergraduate Abians get a source of livelihood and as well help the government of the state to create job for the teeming population of Abia residents, one of the biggest online raffle draw companies in Abia State (WIMBIG) has promised to offer employment to over 500 unemployed Abians.

WIMBIG General Manager, Chimezie Chukwu Speaking to reporters at its headquarters in Aba, the commercial nerve of the state maintained that unlike other platforms, his company came with so many packages that will make the experience of customers with WIMBIG huge.

According to him, his company has come with a method that will change the narrative of online raffle business in the Aba business community, stressing that the company has made its digital platform easy in such a way that their customers can still play with their mobile phones at the comfort of their homes.

Explaining that a customer can only stake a game when he registers and his accounts funded through any financial institution’s channel, Chukwu stated that funding an account enables the customer to take part in the online raffle where he/she can win wide range of products/items.

The young entrepreneur who stated that his organization has the financial muscle to pay customers regardless of the amount won, assured that its platform is safe and secured from invasion. This is even as he maintained that a team of IT experts were working round the clock to ensure that their space isn’t invaded by hackers.

On why they chose Aba among the southeast states, the WIMBIG Manager stated that Aba is strategic for them, disclosing that it has the plans of expanding the business with Corporate Affairs Commission’s (CAC) approval to other Southeast and South-South cities like Owerri, Port Harcourt, among others.

Chukwu stated that WIMBIG is not a ponzi scheme or betting site of sports activities and added that the WIMBIG only provided a platform which has digitalized the old raffle system.  

An official of WIMBIG, Uzo Michael Osinachi, assured that the WIMBIG platform is secured from fraudulent activities and urged raffle customers in Aba to make the digital switch to the WIMBIG platform.

Uzo further that WIMBIG has provided employment to teeming youths as it has engaged over 500 persons who have hit the streets and markets in the city.
