In a bid to ensure that he reached out to the nooks and crannies of the state to woo the support of Abia electorate, the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu will on Wednesday, January 23 begin a state wide tour of the 17 local government areas of the state.
This was disclosed in a release issued by Onyebuchi Ememanka, Director Media, Information and Communication Abia State PDP Central Campaign Council.
Onyebuchi in the release also hinted that the PDP Presidential campaign rally, barring any last minute change will be arriving the state on February 2.
Though the venue of the exercise was not stated, time for each exercise is slated for 10am prompt.
Atiku/Obi visit to the state will be coming four days after President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo visited the state on January 29.
The release read “The Abia State PDP Central Campaign Council hereby announces the official schedule of campaigns of our Governorship Candidate, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and all candidates of our party in the 2019 elections.
