Recently the Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu led a contingent of personalities including his aides to the Presidential Villa where they met with Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari.
The visit which also had the minister of trade and investment, Okechukwu Enelamah saw the state government sigining an economic agreement with the federal government over the proposed economic city to be located between Ugwunagbo, Ukwa East and West local government areas in Abia South Senatorial zone of the state.
The Enyimba Economic City is estimated to cost about #500bn and to provide job for over 60, 000 persons.
While the state is basking on the euphoria of the visit, one of the aides to governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Senior Special Assistant to Abia state Governor on Job Creation/Youth Development and State Focal Person Social Investment Programme,Mr. Chinenye Nwaogu after the visit and having Presidential handshake took to his official facebook handle to share the picture of his handshake with Buhari.
With the campaign of calunmy going on by the opposition party and people opposed to the administrative style of Buhari’s administration and in an attempt to further fuel the calunmy campaign against President Buhari, Nwaogu despite having the privilege of not only coming in contact with the president, but having a handshake with him, after the visit went ahead to used his facebook handle to promote what others have described as unfair to the President.
