Abia State was at the weekend greeted with the news about the arrest of killers of Apostle Blessed Kelechukwu Iwuanyanwu, the founder of “Wind Of Glory International, umuahia, Abia state, His Assistant pastor and woman leader.Â
Unconfirmed report has it that one of the killers is an Evangelist and a childhood friend Iwuanyanwu identified as Prosper Peters Okwandu, the guy on yellow trouser with black and white polo in the pictures below.
Okwandu is said to be an ex-student of a private school located along Umule Road, Aba, the commercial nerve of the state.
It was learnt that the police also recovered the alleged property and car belonging to the deceased pastor that the killers allegedly carted away after carrying out their evil plots.
The Zone 9 Headquarters of the Nigerian Police where the case is being handled is yet to release official information on the arrest of the suspects.
When contacted, the spokesperson of the Command, Janet could not emphatically say whether they have arrested any other the killers, but stated that they are making progress in fishing out the killers.
She however said that the AIG Zone 9, Mr. Hosea Karma would be addressing journalists soon on the matter where details so far in tracking the perpetrators would be made known to the members of the public.
Recall that residents Umuobia Housing Estate, Olokoro in Umuahia Local Government Area of Abia State and parishioners of Winds of Glory located at Ohokobe village in Umuahia North LGA were thrown into shock as decomposing bodies of their pastors and a female member of the church were evacuated from the pastor’s residence in Umuobia, Olokoro.
The decomposing bodies of the three deceased persons were evacuated by team of police personnel led by a Deputy Commissioner of Police, in charge of the State CID, Patrick Edung.
Information has it that the suspected assassins also carted away some properties of late Pastor Kelechi including car.
