Abia Lawmaker picks nomination form against peoples wish

Despite the public outcry and criticisms against the non-performance of the member representing Bende Federal Constituency, Hon. Nnenna Ukeje has gone ahead to pick the nomination in her bid to return to the National Assembly for the fourth term.

Infonet9ja.com was reliably informed that the move made by Ukeje was in defiance to the zoning pattern of Bende Federal constituency.

 

The source however vowed that the people of the area would do all they could to ensure that she didn’t go back to the Green Chambers as a result of what they described as poor performance of the lawmaker and going against the charter of equity of Bende LGA founding fathers.

The Bende born spinster, who has no visible and tangible evidence of her sojourn to Abuja in the past 12 years and who allegedly uses her feminine prowess to get men do her bidding allegedly boasted that she has done her homework at Abuja and is merely trying to fulfil all righteousness by passing through the due process.

Nnenna Ukeje was first elected to represent Bende Federal Constituency in 2007, taking over from Hon. Mba Ajah and for the past 16 years power has remained in Bende North.

 

This has elicited an unprecedented outcry of marginalization by their brother from Bende south and political parties within the state seem to have taken this fact into consideration.

People are earnestly watching to see how the PDP will handle this issue and this will go a long way in determining the fortunes of the party come 2019!
