Social media and mainstream media were on Tuesday trending with news on the defection of about 15 Senators and 32 members of the House of Representatives of the All Progressives Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other parties.

The moves by the National Assembly lawmakers, according to political analysts was a masterstroke that could end the dominance of the APC as the ruling party in the country, but such insinuations have been dismissed by the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole who claimed that he wouldn’t lose sleep over the defection of people he said lack electoral values and moles in the party.

Sources within the national leadership of the party who described the defection as a blessing in disguised, however agreed that it would take the party time to bounce back.

Hinting that the APC were expecting more persons to decamp from the party when the national assembly reconvenes on Tuesday, September 25 asked the leadership of the PDP not to rejoice over their new entrants as there will soon be impulsion of PDP members to APC.
