While the dust of controversies raised during the All Progressives Congress (APC) Imo State Congress was yet to settle, Imo residents on Sunday June 3, Imo residents and indigenes were given another dose of topic to discuss about.
Reports emanating from Owerri, the Imo State capital has it that the Governor of the State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha during a service at the Government House Chapel anointed some of the worshipers with an olive oil.
While many had questioned the act by the Governor, others were of the opinion that there was nothing wrong with it.
People who have been worshipping at the Government chapel before now claimed that the Imo State Governor used to complement the clergy in their duties every Sunday.
“It was always fun and very interesting, because Owelle is a man of endless shows and likes mesmerising his audience with too much talk,” one of the commentators noted.
