The Chairman of the Soludo/Ibezim Re-election Campaign Council in Nawgu Ward 1, Prince Engr. Chetachukwu Nwegwu (Agbogidi), on Monday, November 3, 2025, led an over one-kilometre solidarity road show with the youths of Nawgu Ward 1, demonstrating their unwavering support for the re-election of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim.

The event, which attracted a massive turnout of enthusiastic youths, showcased the community’s unity, determination, and readiness to ensure a resounding victory for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
Speaking during the road show, Prince Nwegwu commended the youths for their steadfastness and commitment to the ideals of progress and continuity under Governor Soludo’s administration. He urged them to remain peaceful, focused, and proactive in mobilizing eligible voters across Nawgu Ward 1 for the success of APGA at the polls.
Prince Nwegwu further emphasized that the re-election of Governor Soludo, alongside his deputy, Dr. Ibezim, would consolidate the gains already achieved in infrastructure, youth empowerment, and rural development across Anambra State—particularly in Dunukofia Local Government Area and, most importantly, in Nawgu community.
Notable personalities who participated in the road show include the President-General of Nawgu Development Union, Prince Frank Nwegwu; former Mayor of Dunukofia Local Government Council, Mr. Onyemaobi Augustine Nonyelum; Dunukofia Supervisor for Youth and Sports Development, Harrison A. Nwegwu; Leader of Congress of Councillors, Moses Okeke; Executive Assistant to Governor Soludo, Hon. Ifeanyi Okoye; Community Woman Leader, Lady Ebele Ikechebelu; and the Community Youth Leader, Comr. Andrew Sunday Nwabueze Okonkwo, among several other distinguished sons and daughters of Nawgu community.
In their separate remarks, the Nawgu President-General, former Dunukofia Mayor, Dunukofia Supervisor for Youth and Sports Development, Leader of Congress of Councillors, Community Woman Leader, and Youth Leader all commended the initiative of Agbogidi and urged the youths of Nawgu to remain steadfast, work hard, and ensure total victory for Governor Soludo and APGA in the forthcoming November 8 gubernatorial election.
The speakers also highlighted notable achievements of the APGA-led administration in Nawgu, including the ongoing Ukpo–Nawgu–Isu-Aniocha Road under construction by Governor Soludo; the Ebe-Aro/Obunagu Road with Ali Bridge (Phase II) currently being constructed by Barr. Ozumba; and the newly completed 24 lock-up shops plaza built by the same Ozumba. They equally noted the “One Youth, Two Skills” initiative of Governor Soludo and the “Just One Youth” Empowerment Programme of Barr. Ozumba as clear evidence of APGA’s commitment to infrastructural development, youth development and grassroots progress. These, they maintained, are compelling reasons for Nawgu youths to shun opposition and vote massively for APGA in the coming election.
The event concluded with renewed pledges of loyalty and commitment by the youths to deliver overwhelming support for Governor Soludo and APGA at the polls.
