NSCDC in a tweet on the X official handle of the agency, the raiding of the illegal bunkering site is located at Ubeaku Waterside in Ukwa East local government area of the state.
According to information contained in the released by the federal government’s agency with the core mandate of protecting critical infrastructure and national assets of the federal government including oil pipelines, electrical installations, airports, railway stations, and other government buildings among others, the Commandant’s Special Intelligence Squad during the raid of the site, destroyed cooking pots, tanks and drums.
The statement by the agency has it that over 22,000 liters of automotive gas oil (AGO) were destroyed in the raid.
