Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Deacon Michael Nwoke at Umuagwula Obingwa in Obingwa LGA.
In his speech, the Speaker said the loss of a father is painful but that the family should be consoled because the deceased lived a fulfilled life.
While praying God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss, Rt Hon Orji urged them to hold firm to the virtues left behind by their departed father.
Responding, son of the deceased, Hon Ibe Michael Nwoke, Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Area, described the condolence visit by the Speaker as comforting and a mark of respect to him and his immediate family.
He thanked the Speaker for the visit and wished him well in all his endeavours.
Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji earlier signed the condolence register.
