The Speaker of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has attributed the miraculous healing of Chief Joseph Akwuobi to God’s divine intervention.
Abia Speaker stated when he attended the Thanksgiving reception of Chief Joseph Akwuobi (PapaJoe) at Umueze in Umuahia North Local Government Area.
Speaking at the reception, the Speaker thanked God for sparing the life of Chief Akwuobi from an ailment which almost claimed his life.
The Speaker said he had no doubt that God spared the life of Chief Akwuobi because he still has greater things to accomplish on earth.
He therefore encouraged him to keep up his humanitarian gestures to the people in love and care for all and sundry.
Finally, the Speaker said he truly appreciates Chief Akwuobi for his immense support to him and his family and prayed God to sustain the celebrant and give him more years on earth in sound health.
While speaking earlier, Chief Joseph Akwuobi thanked the Speaker for coming to celebrate with his family.
He said God thwarted the plans of the enemy over his life by restoring him fully to health, explaining that his miraculous healing from the shackles of sickness was a clear proof that God is the greatest.
He prayed God to continue to bless the Speaker in all his endeavours.
Hon Peter Iroegbu, the Councillor representing Urban Ward 3 and Leader of Umuahia North Legislative Council in his vote of thanks appreciated the Speaker for coming to identify with one of their political leaders in the area and prayed God to bless the Speaker.
