An Umuahia-based journalist, Comrade Chukwuemeka Onyekwere has publicly returns Ninety thousand Naira that was mistakenly transferred to him by a POS operator in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.
Handing over the cash to the POS operator during the Congress of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Onyekwere said he deposited undisclosed cash to his account on Friday but was later credited extra N90,000.
The Journalist who is attached to a Vision Africa Radio Station, Ogurube Layout noted that he expressed shock at the glance of his phone notification after several hours he deposited the cash.
Mr Onyekwere who is popularly known as MC REAL, revealed that returning the money that does not belong to him would create exemplary step for others to follow.
