The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abia State chapter has reaffirmed its confidence on the Hon. Donatus Nwankpa’s led Executive.
Nwankpa is both the Chairman of South East APC Chairmen Forum and acting Chairman of APC Chairmen Forum South East and South-South.
The party in a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Comrade Benedict Godson on the occasion of Nwankpa’s 54th Birthday commended the state chairman of the party for his doggedness, courage and using his political experiences at both state and federal levels in taking the party to an enviable height where it has become the beautiful bride with many suitors jostling for her hand in marriage.
Benedict while recalling how Nwankpa as a pioneer chairman and other pioneer members of the party weathered the storm and in most cases, using their personal resources to run the party when others do not believe in the leader of the party and President Muhammadu Buhari’s change mantra said that the caliber of the persons in the party in the state with many being expected to join the party, APC under the leadership of Nwankpa will make sure that APC produces the next governor of the state come 2023.

“The man has served his constituency in Abia State House of Assembly and has also served the state in various capacities where he excelled without blemish.
“His achievements in APC Abia State Chapter are too numerous to count. He is the pioneer Chairman of the party in Abia and still the current Chairman.
“Under his leadership, the party is now the fastest growing state chapter of any political party.
“Many important seats have been won both in the state and Federal. What more can we say about him that’s not really obvious.
“He’s just a good product that sells itself. Little wonder he’s called OMARAEME because he’s administrative techniques are made in heaven.
