Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, on Thursday visited the family of Hon.Nnamdi Allen, the Lawmaker representing Osisioma South State Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly and commiserated with the family over the death of their father, Late Chief Allen Nwachukwu.
The Speaker who was accompanied by the Lawmaker representing Osisioma/Obingwa /Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Solomon Adaelu, said the late Chief Allen Nwachukwu was a very close friend of the Ochendo family.
“I cannot forget this family. That is why we are going to fully support his son, Nnamdi.
“We cannot allow his name to go extinct; we cannot allow any shame to befall him and his family”, the Speaker said.
He urged the widow of the Late Chief Allen Nwachukwu, Barr Mrs Charity Allen Nwachukwu, to continue to have faith in God who will never disappoint the family.
The Speaker promised to rally round the family at all times.
“Because of the good character of Hon. Nnamdi, we will continue to rally round him now and always.
“The best thing we can do to immortalize the family is for us all to support Hon Allen in his endeavours”, he said.
The Speaker informed that the family of Senator Theodore Orji is also bereaved by the death of Chief Allen Nwachukwu.
On his part, the Member representing Osisioma, Obingwa/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Solomon Adaelu, thanked the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly for coming to commiserate with the Allen family.
“The death of Chief Allen Nwachukwu should be a reconciliatory point for the people of Osiosioma Local Government Area” he Said.
In his vote of thanks on behalf of the Allen family, Chief Iheanyi Nwachukwu thanked the Speaker for coming to commiserate with the family and prayed God to continue to sustain him as he pilots the affairs of the Abia State House of Assembly.
