Otti’s camp denies accident report of supporters bus

The media team of one of the 2015 All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Dr. Alex Otti has debunked the rumours that are making rounds in the state over the involvement of a bus bearing supporters of Otti that was involved in an auto ghastly accident while on their way to Abuja.

In a release signed by the media aide to Otti, Mr. Ferdinand Ekeoma, he described such news as false and a figment of the imagination of the writers, stressing that all the people that came from other parts of the country to support Otti came through the air.

The release read “Fellow Abians, greetings to you all in the holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Recall that earlier today, the Abia Chief Agent of Change, Dr. Alex Otti OFR, in company of many other APGA Aspirants, friends, associates and supporters stormed the APGA National Secretariat Abuja, to pick his Governorship Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.

“Many notable Abia sons and daughters who live in Abuja also trooped out en mass to join Dr. Otti in solidarity; thus the event was a huge success in all ramifications.

“Unfortunately, pained by the continued success of Dr. Otti’s numerous political activities, including today’s event, agents of Abia state government have gone on social media to circulate fake story and picture purporting to be a motor accident involving Dr. Alex Otti’s supporters.

“In the said fake report, they claimed that 18 persons lost their lives, and showed a picture of a saloon car, and a luxury bus where they fraudulently hung a flex bearing the photograph of Dr. Otti.

“We condemn this satanic report and state as follows;

“1. That not even a single bus conveyed people from Abia to Abuja for today’s event, and thus none could have been involved in an accident.

2. That Dr. Otti’s friends and supporters who traveled to Abuja, did so individually, and almost all of them traveled by air.

3. That the wish of death by agents of Abia state government to fellow Abians, especially Otti’s supporters on the basis of political differences, shows that we’re dealing with a bunch of irredeemable political beasts who have lost every sense of humanity in them, and thus are ready to wish and do the worst form of evil against fellow Abians for the sake of acquiring political power.

4. That the fact that the story was fabricated and being widely circulated by young men, who are agents and appointees of Abia state government and friends of the government, shows how Abia youths are being badly influenced and terribly destroyed by the PDP led government who give them pittance and use them in executing evil agenda that seek to destroy Abia.

5. That Dr. Alex Otti and his team are pursuing a people oriented agenda that has a Divine seal, thus losing our people in motor accident is one tragedy God will never allow to happen.

6. Finally, we urge our people, especially those who may have been misinformed to disregard the fake report, and pray for the repentance of this despicable government and recovery of our misguided youths who are being taught to be callous and evil.
