One of the common things among students of Higher Institutions of the country is visiting friends to catch fun or rest their heads while trying to stay away from academic stress.
While some come back to school unscratched, other came back with scars of stories that they will tell the rest of their lives, others couldn’t live to tell the story as well.
Unfortunately, a final year Information Management Technology student of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State identified as Uwakwe Jennifer in an apparent move to have a good time ahead of her exams couldn’t make the journey back to Owerri.
Jennifer was reported to have died in a road traffic accident while driving with a man identified as her boyfriend; Emetor Ikenna Godspower.
It was learnt that Jennifer was scheduled to start writing her final exams weekend before her exam starts.
Godspower’s car, a white coloured Toyota Venza rammed into a stationary truck along the Owerri-Onitsha road.
It was learnt that the accident occurred as Godspower said to be on top speed, lost control and rammed into the stationary truck.
Their corpses have been deposited at the Oraifite general hospital morgue for autopsy.
Infonet9ja.com gathered that the news of the final student’s death threw her friends and course mates into mourning when it break, with many of them reading it on the social media.
