The 2015 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and 2019 gubernatorial aspirant of the party, Dr. Alex Otti would be picking his expression of interest and nomination forms today (Thursday).
Otti, infonet9ja.com gathered would be picking the form at the National Secretariat of the party No. 41b Libreville Crescent, Opp. Tulip Press, Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 11, Abuja in company of friends, National Assembly lawmakers and other party faithful and stakeholders.
Otti would be gunning for the exalted position under APGA if he would be able to defeat Chief Chikwe Udensi who has also declared his interest to run for the governorship position in the state.
Infonet9ja.com can authoritatively report that Otti since his entrance into politics, especially in APGA in 2014, the politics of Abia State changed as the former bank chief single handedly challenged a ruling party to a standstill.
From our investigation, the opinion on the street is that Otti was massively voted for in 2015 by Abians as he was seen to be the only option of salvaging power from the grip of then incumbent.
The people said that they were surprised when INEC didn’t announce Otti winner of the 2015.

Recall that Otti during the official declaration of his interest to contest for the 2019 election at Ngwa High School, Aba, the commercial nerve of Abia State said that he was coming to reclaim his 2015 stolen mandate. This is even as he accused the incumbent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led government in the state of not addressing promised to turn things around in the state if elected governor come 2019.
