32 House of Rep members decamp from APC to PDP, others

32 members of the House of Representatives were on Tuesday said to have defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

This is coming on the heels of the defection of fifteen senators in the Red Chambers.

Four lawmakers however opted for the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) from APC.

Their letters of defection were read by the Speaker of House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.

Infonet9ja.com gathered that the defection of the national assembly lawmakers have caused tension in the camp of the APC who say that they weren’t perturbed by the news of the lawmakers defection but were working towards the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
