2019: PDP already in panic mood – Sir Udensi

A chieftain of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and 2019 governorship hopeful in Abia State, Sir Chikwe Udensi has accused the ruling party in the state Peoples Democratic Party, PDP) of being in a panic mood. This is even as he maintained that PDP would not Abia beyond 2019.

Udensi who was reacting to the affirmation of Chief Victor Oye as the authentic National chairman of APGA in a judgment by the Supreme Court’s five-man jurists told reporters that the party was poised to sacking the PDP led government which according to him, has failed in delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Abia.

“From today, that seat belongs to APGA. There is no doubt about that. We will throw PDP away come 2019. We are not talking of victory because Abians are fed up with PDP and their monumental failure. What we are talking about is protecting our votes from those who have been stealing our mandate for long” he said.

On how to enlarge the membership base of the party in Abia, Sir Udensi who described APGA as the soul of Igbo man disclosed that the party has commenced a door to door campaign in the state, adding that the citizens of the state can no longer wait till 2019 to vote out a government that has subjected them to abject poverty and penury.

He urged those who are yet to register or obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to do so before the INEC’s deadline.
