Less than 24 hours after a fuel tanker laden with Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS), claimed nine lives in Lagos-Ibadan expressway, another tanker said to be carrying Kerosene along on Friday went aflame as it collided with a truck at Minna-Suleja road, Lagos State.

Infonet9ja.com gathered that men of the State’s Fire Service, at the time of this report, have arrived the scene and were attempting to put out the fire.

Meanwhile, residents of the commercial city have expressed concerns over the recurrent rate of accident on Lagos road in recent times. This is even as they called on the state government and appropriate quarters in-charge of traffic management in the city to rise to the occasion of reducing the rate of crashes on Lagos roads which they said have become worrisome.

It could be recalled that no fewer than nine persons lost their lives on Thursday after a tanker exploded on Otedola Bridge in Lagos.
